The role:
To utilize advanced product & process knowledge to manage & execute the apparel*accessories development process for assigned styles.
You will be expected to provide leadership for the category in all material development efforts & by role modeling innovation & technical*professional expertise in all aspects of the job.
To communicate with vendor managers, regional & liaison offices, product team members or others to ensure a smooth product development process.
You will collaborate with the category product team to understand & accomplish seasonal product concepts. Identify key issues in product construction, material selection, manufacturing & pricing
You:
Must have a Bachelors degree in apparel*textile design, merchandising, engineering, industrial engineering or related field with 6 to 9 years apparel or textile industry experience.
Possess a good understanding of design & development process from inception through production & have the ability to be a technical resource to others.
